Can We Say Showcase Showdown?

S:  After a looking at a series of apartments from craigslist Daniel found one that kind of stood out.  Hahaha.  You'll know why I'm laughing at this understatement in about 30 seconds.  This place makes us think of a getaway you would win on The Price is Right.  We didn't know it was this nice from the pictures online. We just came to check it out and were astounded.  The setback is that it makes an hour commute for Daniel because it's outside of the city.  But it was the same price as a one room cramped apartment downtown and this one has security.  There was someone else ahead of us who was probably going to move in so we didn't get our hopes up too high.  Just when we were feeling discouraged about finding something that was a good fit,  the owner called and said we could come move in Sunday night because the person who was going to didn't show up!!!  Whaaattt????  I am pinching myself every day here.

Last night when we were walking home we saw about 50 Chinese people out doing the mambo right here! haha

We definitely didn't need something this nice!!  BUT it is absolutely beautiful and I'm grateful to have such a lovely place to spend my days with Michelle while Dan is gone at work.


Hope we get out and see the rest of Taiwan.  haha.
